Salary up to £30,000 - £35,000 DOE


Due to continued growth for my client, we are currently recruiting for the role of HR Officer to join their team.

In this role, you will support the HR function across recruitment, onboarding, employee records, general HR administration and compliance. You will play a vital part in ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently while supporting employees and managers across the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organised, people‑focused and keen to progress within HR. This role offers hybrid working, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.


General Responsibilities:


  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal processes.
  • Provide comprehensive HR support to managers and directors across the company.
  • Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including advertising roles, screening applicants, scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new starter documentation, completing right‑to‑work checks and ensuring smooth induction.
  • Process HR‑related documents such as contracts, offer letters, training records and policy updates.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding annual leave, absence, policies, benefits and general HR matters.
  • Update HR systems, databases and internal logs, ensuring all information is entered accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with coordinating training sessions, maintaining training compliance records and arranging development activities.
  • Support HR projects including employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities and internal communications.
  • Help maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure clarity, relevance and legal compliance.
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes for HR‑related discussions when required.


Requirements and Skills:


  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HR systems or databases.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced office environment.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
