My client is a reputable Manufacturer in Middleton, who represent two brands. They are looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to join their busy accounts / finance department. This role is permanent 37.5 hours per week and is directly employed by my client. 


Role Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for wide a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions under general supervision.
  • Coding and posting cash receipts electronically while identifying trends in payment differences
  • Code and process accounts payable for selected companies
  • Monitor customer accounts for past-due payments including making business to business collection calls
  • Month-end closing responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned


Essential Skills & Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clerical accounting, high school diploma and have technology aptitude
  • Associate degree in accounting or business, a plus
  • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and knowledge of accounting software, a plus
  • Team-player with a strong sense of urgency
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and attention to detail
